Miranda helped me rent my first apartment in the Netherlands. She was very polite and also patient with many of my questions as a newcomer as well as with verifying my background documents which were not Dutch (!)at the time of relocation. I recommend her as a trustful agent if you look around Haarlem!

We had a terrible experience... We were about to sign the lease when, one day before the start of the contract, they suddenly canceled. What initially felt like good and professional communication suddenly turned out to be unfriendly and unreliable. I wouldn't recommend this real estate agent.

I went on viewing together with my (Dutch) fiance hosted by Nu Woonruimte Makelaardij. The estate agent was incredibly rude, both when scheduling the viewing, as she in Dutch told my partner that I, expat, seemed suspicious and she was sceptical against me and my income as a foreigner. At the viewing, she was constantly busy scrolling her phone. She avoided every question and referred to the advertisement of the rental, even with information that was not stated there. I pointed out what looked like mould, but like many others, she referred us to contact the landlord (how would we contact the landlord? They weren't even there!). She constantly made rude comments in Dutch to my partner and avoided any type of relevant question. Little to say, the worst viewing in a long time.
