Great location for renting a venue. Friendly manager, organ, piano, stage, sound system, projector, many options, air conditioning.

We had a very pleasant private gathering, with extremely friendly service and a professionally prepared buffet. Fantastic!

Very friendly staff and excellent service. The funeral home's phone number is virtually impossible to find. In terms of information, there is no clear distinction between the Schakel function room and the funeral home. The website is very unclear. Fortunately, the funeral director was able to reach them quickly, which is necessary due to time pressure. The funeral home looks neat and is accessible to the mobility impaired. It is located on a busy road. During a funeral, this is difficult due to carrying the coffin into the hearse and forming a short procession of cars behind it. Regarding the bouquets, there should be more and larger options (tables or similar); currently, they are lying on the floor around the coffin, and people saying goodbye at the coffin almost walk over the flowers. There is also insufficient space for the flowers after the coffin is closed during the funeral service. Lunch was disappointing. We chose the most luxurious option. They turned out to be sealed sandwiches. Due to the settings, you could not see what fillings were on them. The tomato soup tasted very good.
