A great campsite for this area. Kinderdijk is a short bike ride away, and several cycling and hiking trails start right from the campsite. The manager is a very friendly man who regularly comes by for a chat, or perhaps his daughter. The pitches are excellent, and the sanitary facilities are excellent. A downside is the constant coming and going of guests, especially those who come specifically for Kinderdijk and then leave again. Furthermore, the campsite is next to the dike, which is quite steep, so be careful when leaving. Supermarkets and bakeries are available in nearby Lekkerland or Streefkerk. Within walking distance is a capless windmill, which is currently used as a coffee/tea house. This is very nice, and you're supporting the project to restore it.

Spent the weekend at the campsite, great!

My sister and brother-in-law's wedding was celebrated here in October 2021. There is a spacious, rustic hall with a bar on the first floor. It was the first wedding celebrated at this location in 1.5 years. The civil ceremony was held here, including a live stream and food. Leo and his staff do their utmost and are very helpful. A great location with ample parking for a very reasonable price. The food was great!
